What a great piece of news to start the new year with! Our Car Navigation app has become the first ever navigation to partner with Ford Motor Company and work with its car infotainment system.
So what is the beauty of Sygic Car Navigation?
When a smartphone is paired to the vehicle via USB cable, control of the Sygic app is removed from the smartphone. The app is automatically projected to the vehicle touchscreen and linked to voice controls, making navigation apps more convenient to manage. The technology aims to reduce a driver’s urge to pick up and look at their mobile device and it will launch on 2018 Ford vehicles. Enough of PR. Let's take a peek under the hood :).

The connected-car technology has been around for a while now, however, making it work with Ford required a few months of work of our international team of developers who rolled up their sleeves and tested their prototype in Bratislava afternoon traffic. The solution itself was presented to the public for the first time at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.
