Innovation day is a two-day internal hackathon we hold twice a year. 9th Innovation Day was somehow special as it was the first one since we moved to our new office. Our colleagues came up with some great ideas how to make Sygic even better.

So what it is we actually do during Innovation Day?

First, we need to make sure we got the T-shirts ready. Check!

Of course, the day cannot start without a good breakfast. Check!

Then it is absolutely crucial to arrange perfect weather conditions. Check!

The teams get together and brainstorm...

...and work on their ideas the whole day...

...more or less...

The evening is a perfect time to share some pizza...

...and spend quality time with the colleagues....

...and family :)

On the following day everybody gets ready for the final presentations in order to gain support for their ideas.

The whole company then votes for the best idea so that the winning team can enjoy eternal glory :).

Innovation Day is an opportunity for all colleagues to suggest improvements concerning our products or the company itself. One of these ideas already made it to our main product and we proudly introduced a cool new feature Real view only a month after one of the teams came up with it!
